SweetPavlova is more than just a dessert brand; it is a heartfelt journey of love, resilience, and passion for baking. Founded by two sisters, Marlys and Yuliana, our story is deeply personal and rooted in family.
In 2015, Marlys first made a pavlova for her youngest son, Luis Fernando, who was undergoing an oncological treatment. As many treatments affect appetite, Luis Fernando had little desire to eat—until he craved a pavlova. Wanting to bring comfort to her son, Marlys researched and baked her very first pavlova, marking the beginning of a special connection with this delicate dessert.
By 2017, Marlys and Yuliana discussed expanding their love for desserts into a business, leading to the creation of SweetJars in Miami. While Marlys was the hands behind the baking, Yuliana contributed her creative vision, shaping the brand’s visual identity and product ideas. Over time, the business flourished, offering layered desserts in jars.
In 2019, they relocated to Atlanta, where they continued offering their jars and pavlovas. One pivotal moment came when they introduced kiwi and peach to their pavlova, a unique combination that was not commonly found at the time. The response was overwhelming, and pavlova orders skyrocketed. Recognizing this growing demand, they decided to focus entirely on perfecting and innovating pavlovas.
With a shared passion for creating personalized pavlovas, experimenting with numbers, and playing with flavors, SweetPavlova evolved into a brand that redefines this delicate dessert. Over the years, they have refined their recipe and introduced new flavors such as pistachio, Nutella, and dulce de leche, along with berries as a signature decorative touch. In addition to pavlovas, they now craft other desserts, including brownies inspired by the pavlova’s rich fillings.
From a mother’s love to a thriving business, SweetPavlova continues to share its passion for desserts, bringing joy to every celebration with its unique, handcrafted treats.

Para 2017, Marlys y Yuliana conversaron sobre su amor por la repostería y decidieron llevarlo al siguiente nivel, creando SweetJars en Miami. Mientras Marlys se encargaba de la preparación de los postres, Yuliana aportaba su visión creativa, diseñando la identidad visual y nuevas ideas para los productos. Con el tiempo, su emprendimiento fue creciendo, especializándose en postres en frascos.
En 2019, se mudaron a Atlanta, donde continuaron ofreciendo sus postres en jars y pavlovas. Un momento clave en su crecimiento llegó cuando incorporaron una combinación única en sus pavlovas: kiwi y melocotón. En ese momento, no era una mezcla común, y la respuesta de los clientes fue increíble, aumentando significativamente la demanda de pavlovas. Fue entonces cuando decidieron dedicarse completamente a perfeccionar y reinventar este postre.
Con el objetivo de personalizar pavlovas, jugar con formas y sabores, SweetPavlova evolucionó hasta convertirse en una marca que redefine este exquisito postre. A lo largo de los años, perfeccionaron su receta y ampliaron su oferta con sabores como pistacho, Nutella y dulce de leche, además de incluir frutos del bosque como su distintivo toque decorativo. Hoy en día, además de pavlovas, también elaboran otros postres como brownies inspirados en los rellenos de las pavlovas.
Lo que comenzó como un acto de amor de una madre, se ha convertido en un negocio que comparte su pasión por la repostería, llevando dulzura y alegría a cada celebración con postres únicos y hechos a mano.
